Panzer III Ausf.L

Here's a portfolio project I've started working on, a German Panzer III Ausf.L, produced between 1939-1943 during World War II.

This final and fourth week I completely revamped my UV maps, manually laying out over 100 UV shells to better optimize texel density. I also followed some feedback to make a second, cleaner version of the tank.

Panzer 3 Ausf.L Textured

This third week I moved onto texturing, trying to match my reference as closely as possible in regard to colors and materials, while taking some liberty in labels around the turret.

This second week I finished my game resolution model, trying to match as much detail as possible from my high resolution. I was able to get the model around 50k tris, which was my target!

This first week I completed the high resolution model, taking quite a bit of time trying to match significant pieces of the model as closely as possible with photo reference.
