This week I remapped several UV shells on my trumpet to remove seam lines, and changed several textures in Substance. I also fixed issues with the darker areas on the model.

During week 3 I completely redid my UV maps for the trumpet, reducing the amount of shells drastically. I also took time matching the textures to my reference as well as I could.
In week 2, I lowered the count of triangles in my trumpet from ~471,000, to ~13,000 for my game resolution model! There are still a few problems with the normals that I plan to fix next week.
This first week I created my high resolution model. I may need to edit this in future weeks to add more details!
